Diagnosis
Midlobe of mesoscutum with posterior 1/3 with raised reticulation; scutellum with very weak engraved and superficial reticulation, almost smooth; mesoscutum metallic bluish-purple to metallic dark purple, scutellum metallic bluish-green.
Distribution
Costa Rica.
Biology
The specimens in the type series have been reared from an unidentified gallmaker on a unspecified plant, and from galls in sprouts of Conostegia micrantha (Melastomataceae). In the same sample there is an unidentified phorid fly (Diptera: Phoridae).
